We are receiving 75 children during our dental mission who will receive teeth cleaning, diagnosis, and the pulling of compromised, rotten teeth. Chronic pain is a terrible thing, and these children and their families can never afford to go to a dentist. This is why we are bringing the dentists to them.
The first round of our dental mission received 75 children, cleaned their teeth, taught them to brush with new toothbrushes, and pulled approximately 175 teeth. Chronic pain is a real thing among the most impoverished. From 3 years old to 18, malnutrition affects teeth in a horrible way!
We have great friends who are dentists, and they are bringing their dental teams in to help malnourished children with their chronic tooth pain. Supplies, pain meds, and antibiotics average $5 per child. You can sponsor a child for only $5 today.
(The price was $4 yesterday, but we had to increase it to $5 to support more antibiotics and aspirin needed.)
