You can sponsor an egg laying chicken to bring her to the point of fruitfulness. The fact is that when we start up a new egg laying chicken, she costs us $25 to purchase, feed, attend to, and protect, plus 6 months of keeping her healthy and happy. After 6 months, she starts producing 76 dozen eggs in 2.5 years. To start up 400 chickens using our current infrastructure, we must raise $6,600 and be ready to work for 6 months.
