The harvest is plentiful. The food is available. Now we need the fuel to go get it.
Across the agricultural fields of Panama, thousands of pounds of nutritious vegetables can become available to Global Food Providers for little or no cost. Carrots, potatoes, greens and other fresh foods can be left after harvest or made available by farmers and producers who would rather see that food feed people than go to waste.
The opportunity is tremendous—but free food is not free to rescue.
We need what we call the “jet fuel” that makes the engine work. It takes people, trucks, fuel, crates, harvesting supplies, transportation, washing, processing, dehydration, packaging, storage and distribution to move food from a field into the hands of a hungry family.
We have already built the engine.
For years, Global Food Providers has been doing the hard work. We built the farm. We built the Dehydration Center. We developed the systems. We established relationships with farmers and producers. We learned how to grow, process, preserve and distribute nutritious food.
Now, the doors are opening wider than ever.
The question is no longer simply, “Can we find the food?”
The question is:
“When thousands of pounds of food become available, will we have the resources to say YES—WE’RE COMING TO GET IT?”
That's why we're asking you to become a GLEANING PARTNER with a minimum gift of $50 per month.
Your monthly partnership gives us dependable resources to respond when a farmer calls and says, “The harvest is ready. Come get it.”
We can mobilize a team, enter the fields, glean the harvest, transport it to our facilities, preserve what needs to be preserved, and move that food toward the people who need it most.
We want these harvests to help feed children, struggling families, widows, orphans, the malnourished and people facing genuine need—while demonstrating the hope, provision and abounding love of God.
This isn't simply about saving vegetables.
It's about turning an overlooked harvest into provision.
Turning surplus into meals.
Turning opportunity into action.
And using food to demonstrate the love of Jesus.
