Help! Our old air conditioner has bit the bullet. A crazy mouse got into the older, air unit, and took a chip off the control board. He must have taken it home with him. We can't find it anywhere. There is no other circuit board or chip for sale anywhere in the world, making this air conditioner DOA (dead on arrival). You gotta be kidding me!
We have two employees and many volunteers who need to work inside the dehydration center with a 175-degree dehydrator operating, while wearing heavy protective clothing. It's 110 degrees inside that room without air conditioning, making life impossible in there.
We have secured a commercial Hisense 60,000 BTU air conditioner (regular $2,200) for $1,900 and $300 to install it. $2,200 total installed and it will be cold enough in that room to work comfortably. This air unit will also dehumidify the air, making dehydration easier.
