Introduced in 1920, "Honey Rock" was an All-American Selection in 1933. The luscious result of crossing "Champlain" and "Irondequoit", the 3-4 lb, 6 x 6" melons have firm grey-green ribbed skin, a coarse, open net and thick, extra sweet, firm deep salmon-toned flesh. Vigorous, wilt-resistant vines yields 5-7 melons per plant.
