Heirloom MINNESOTA MIDGET Melon Cantaloupe -- 100 SEEDS
Cucumis melo
Heirloom, Open Pollinated, Non GMO, Non Hybrid Seeds

Developed by the University of Minnesota for a short growing season and later introduced in 1948.

60-70 days. ‘Minnesota Midget’ cantaloupe is a backyard gardener’s dream. These super-sweet, softball-size 13-24 oz muskmelons grow on unusual 3-4 ft vines. Great for container gardens! Each plant will produce six to eight melons.

Flavor: The thick, orange walls of this melon pack a lot of flavor into a small package. A high sugar content makes it sweet enough for dessert. Firm and supple texture, very juicy. Thin rinds so no flesh is wasted.

SEED SOWING: Melons do best when grown in clusters (hills). In fertile, well-drained soil after all danger of frost from spring to early summer, plant 3-4 seeds 1/2" deep in in hills 3-4 ft apart.
