78 Days. PORTER is an old-time heat and drought-tolerant favorite in the Southwest. 3 oz fruit is smooth, plum shaped and dark pink. Heavy yields in high temperatures and low humidity. Excellent keeping quality. Flavorful tomatoes are great for canning and juicing. Sprawling vigorous indeterminate vines. Suitable for home gardens and market growers.

SEED SOWING: Soil germination temperature 70F-80F. Seeds can be started indoors before last frost. In well-drained rich fine potting mix, plant seeds 1/4” deep. After danger of all frost, transplant seedlings outdoors and space plants 24-36" apart. Germination is 10-14 days depending upon growing conditions.
